PINAKIE KANSABANIK

Stories Shaped By
Mountains, Cultures, Events & the Human Experience
Author | Event - Cultural Narrator | Trekker

About Me

Originally from Siliguri, Pinakie’s 25-year journey spans institutional boardrooms, cultural spaces, and global mandates—from teaching in Sikkim to architecting operational frameworks in Delhi–NCR. He defines himself as an author of human experiences, specializing in the intersection of identity and governance. His published works include Mountains to Manhattan (geopolitics and identity), A Basket of Sunflowers (social resilience), and The Perfect Chaos (institutional power). Influenced by the Himalayas and cycling, his work—and his leadership as an NGO Founder—explores the strategic balance of emotion, culture, and belonging.

"Mountains to Manhattan" offers a fresh perspective on the historic struggle between India’s traditional allies and the modern powerhouse of China. The book provides an insightful look into the lives of Tibetan exiles and underscores the ongoing vitality and resilience of the Free Tibet movement.

Seven women across seven places come alive through intersecting stories of ambition, restraint, and resilience. The narratives examine women’s unspoken struggles—some borne in silence, others met with quiet defiance.
